Director, Engineering and Controls

Role: Director of Engineering & Controls responsible for managing engineering projects related to pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. Responsibilities: lead from conception to completion, develop budgets, project plans, and SOPs, analyze bids, oversee design and execution in line with cGMPs, Federal, State, and Local regulations; optimize equipment like extrusion, coating, and packaging for safety and efficiency; manage project scope changes, document work, communicate progress, and mitigate risks. Lead engineering teams, contractors, and consultants, provide mentorship, and ensure project outcomes meet standards. Requirements: BS degree (or equivalent) with at least 10 years of experience; 15+ years preferred; strong project management, regulatory compliance, and process improvement skills.
