Director, Distribution & Trade

Role: The Director of Distribution & Trade provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for the company's distribution network, including 3PL providers, specialty distributors, and pharmacies. Objectives include developing scalable distribution models to support product launches and growth, and ensuring efficient, compliant distribution processes. Responsibilities encompass managing external partner relationships, negotiating contracts, monitoring performance against SLAs/KPIs, collaborating cross-functionally with Patient Services, Supply Chain, Finance, Regulatory, and Commercial teams, and overseeing data reporting and compliance with industry standards like DSCSA and 340B.Qualifications: Requires a Bachelor's degree, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred. Candidates should have 10+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech distribution or trade, including 5+ years managing specialty pharmacies, distributors, and 3PLs, with experience in rare/oncology indications. Skills in contract negotiation, vendor management, data analysis, and cross-functional leadership are essential. High-value specifics include experience with specialty and orphan disease supply chains, regulatory compliance, and trade data management. Work setup is hybrid with some travel expected up to 25%.
