Position Summary:
You will be a key member of the Digital Medicine team, shaping strategy and delivery of digital tools that support development and safe use of medicines, working across research, clinical development, regulatory, data science and commercial teams.
Responsibilities:
- Define and lead digital medicine strategies for clinical programs and studies across Respiratory, Immunology and Inflammation.
- Guide cross-functional teams to design, develop and validate digital biomarkers, digital endpoints, and digital measures.
- Identify connected-device and other digital medicine solutions, including AI opportunities; build business cases.
- Collaborate with clinical development, regulatory, safety and data teams to ensure scientific and regulatory rigor.
- Identify, engage and oversee external partnerships to accelerate capability and delivery.
- Upskill clinical study teams (and wider organization) on digital medicine solutions.
- Champion pragmatic evidence generation and implementation plans for adoption.
Basic Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (MSc, PhD, MD, PharmD) or equivalent experience in life sciences, clinical research, biomedical engineering, data science or related.
- Experience in clinical development, digital health, translational medicine or related.
- Demonstrated experience leading digital medicine/digital health product development or digital biomarker programs.
- Track record influencing senior stakeholders in complex matrixed organizations.
- Experience with regulatory interactions/submissions involving digital endpoints or software as a medical device.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary matrix teams.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- R/I/In-depth scientific/medical understanding; hands-on clinical trial design/operationalization.
- Experience with real-world evidence, remote/decentralized trials.
- Knowledge of clinical validation methods and major health authority guidance.
- Product management experience; translating science into user-centered products.
- Experience with device connectivity, mobile apps, wearables, sensors, interoperable health data standards.
- Project management experience (vendors, budgets, timelines, risks).
