Brief Description
- Director, DEC R&D Digital R&D Domain Lead to support digital product strategy serving R&D; trusted advisor to Research/Nonclinical Development, Clinical Development, Regulatory, Evidence Generation, and Medical Affairs leaders.
- Lead a team of capability leaders across R&D platform capability areas.

Responsibilities
- Translate business priorities into DEC strategy plans, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes.
- Prioritize enhancements with business/technology stakeholders; manage tradeoffs; deliver functional platform improvements.
- Mature the product operating model (ways of working, governance, prioritization).
- Oversee day-to-day health and evolution of platforms for research, nonclinical, clinical, regulatory, safety, evidence generation, and medical affairs systems.
- Ensure GxP/regulatory alignment: validation support, audit readiness, issue remediation.
- Maintain controls for security, data integrity, access, and change management; monitor risks and escalate issues.
- Lead and develop capability leaders; manage vendor/partner relationships.
- Collaborate with architecture/delivery to align with enterprise standards and functional needs.
- Plan for capacity, lifecycle management, upgrades, and service improvements.
- Support integrations and consistent integration/data standards; enable AI/analytics features and roadmap integration.

Qualifications
- 8–10 years progressive leadership delivering/managing R&D-related systems/products (pharma experience required).
- Proven ownership in R&D solutions (research, nonclinical, clinical, regulatory, evidence generation, medical affairs) plus adjacent reporting/integration platforms.
- Accountability in GxP-regulated environments (audit management, validation support, governance).
- Enterprise ownership experience for digital platforms supporting regulated R&D operations.
- Strong enterprise/product mindset; delivers measurable, value-based outcomes.
- Trusted advisor with strong communication and stakeholder management.
- Experience leading/developing high-performing teams.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in related science, technology, or Information Systems.
