Role: Director of Data Science at Formation Bio, leading AI-driven initiatives to accelerate drug development. Responsibilities: develop models for patient stratification, biomarker discovery, clinical trial optimization, and biomedical workflow automation; collaborate with clinical, research, and technical teams; present findings to senior leadership. Requirements: PhD in computational or life sciences; 7+ years post-academic experience in biotech, pharma, or consulting; strong Python skills; extensive bioinformatics expertise. Preferred: cloud computing proficiency, machine learning/deep learning in biology, experience with LLMs, and effective cross-functional collaboration.
