Director, Data Product & Analytics Engineering – Pathway AI

Role: Lead development of scalable, governed data products and analytics infrastructure for BioMarin’s Patient FIND capability, enabling enterprise-wide patient identification and engagement strategies. Responsibilities: translate business and scientific priorities into technical requirements; create reusable data assets across claims, EHR, lab, Rx, CRM, and digital sources; guide AI/ML feature engineering and model support; establish data quality, governance, lineage, and measurement frameworks; drive cross-functional alignment and technical standards; mentor team members and shape future capability growth. Requirements: Bachelor’s in Data Science, Engineering, or related field; 8+ years in healthcare data science, analytics engineering, or data product roles; expertise in SQL, Python, and healthcare data sources; experience translating ambiguous needs into technical solutions; strong stakeholder influence and communication skills. Preferred: experience in pharma, rare diseases, RWD, HEOR; familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), modern analytics tools, MLOps, and regulated environments.
