Director, Data Management Operational Excellence

Role: Senior leader responsible for designing and advancing Moderna's global Data Management operational model, focusing on standardization, performance, governance, and digital enablement to ensure high-quality, inspection-ready data across development phases. Responsibilities: develop enterprise governance frameworks, KPIs, and performance analytics; ensure regulatory compliance and inspection readiness; oversee vendor governance; collaborate with clinical, biometrics, quality, regulatory, and digital teams to enhance data integrity and system interoperability; lead process harmonization and digital automation initiatives; identify operational risks and develop mitigation strategies; foster organizational capability and culture of continuous improvement; ensure GxP compliance and audit preparedness. Requirements: Bachelor's in life sciences, data sciences, or related field; 10+ years of progressive clinical data management experience, including leadership in global studies (Phases I–IV); proven expertise in operational excellence, process harmonization, governance frameworks, vendor oversight, and digital innovation; strong leadership, influence, and communication skills; thorough understanding of GxP regulations, FDA, ICH GCP, and experience with regulatory inspections.
