Role: Lead the development and execution of enterprise data governance, quality, and enablement strategies within a biopharma environment. Responsibilities: establish and operationalize data governance frameworks, metadata management, data quality controls, lineage, and cataloging; embed governance into data pipelines and products; support data enablement and self-service analytics; ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards, including GxP and data integrity; collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Engineering, IT Security, Privacy, and Business Data Owners; lead automation efforts, define standards for AI-ready data, and manage platform capabilities. Requirements: 10+ years in data governance, enterprise data management, or related fields; 5+ years in leadership roles building or scaling governance frameworks; strong knowledge of data quality, metadata, lineage, and industry standards (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK, DCAM, NIST); experience with data catalog platforms (e.g., Alation, Microsoft Purview), cloud data platforms, and regulatory environments in pharma or life sciences; proven stakeholder management and leadership skills. High-Value: focus on data trust, compliance, quality, metadata, lineage, data products, and AI enablement within regulated biopharma settings, including GxP principles; extensive experience with modern data platforms and governance tools. WorkSetup: Full-time, with a salary range of approximately $213K-$260K, plus benefits and equity, emphasizing leadership in a regulated, data-driven biopharma context.
