Role: Director of Data, Data Science, and AI in Oncology focusing on Prostate Cancer at Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine. Responsible for leading data science strategies and solutions to advance clinical development and regulatory submissions for prostate cancer therapies. Core duties include directing efforts to develop and validate novel oncology endpoints, applying advanced analytics and AI/ML techniques, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Clinical, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, and External Partners. Requirements: PhD, MD, PharmD, or MS with at least 8 years in drug development, biostatistics, outcomes research, or related fields with high-dimensional healthcare datasets experience. Deep knowledge of oncology and clinical trial design, especially in genitourinary cancers, is essential. Preferred: Hematology/Oncology fellowship, R&D experience, and understanding of regulatory science. The role involves managing external partnerships and leading multidisciplinary teams to leverage innovative digital health and AI solutions in early- and late-stage prostate cancer programs. It is based in one of several US locations with up to 10% travel, no remote work option. The position emphasizes strategic leadership, technical expertise, and collaboration across R&D functions to enhance patient-centric clinical trials and support regulatory acceptance.
