Objectives include leading advanced data science initiatives to support late-stage clinical development, regulatory submissions, and translational research in oncology. Responsibilities encompass guiding cross-functional teams to develop AI, machine learning, and digital health solutions, including novel endpoints and digital pathology, to enhance trial efficiency, patient-centricity, and regulatory acceptance. The position demands strategic leadership in collaborating with internal teams and external partners to leverage high-dimensional healthcare datasets like EHRs, omics, and imaging. Requirements include an advanced degree (PhD, MD, PharmD, MS), at least 8 years of experience in drug development, AI, or outcomes research, with expertise in clinical oncology, data science methodologies, and healthcare datasets. Proven experience managing external partnerships, delivering solutions in a matrixed environment, and excellent communication skills are essential. Preferred qualifications involve genitourinary oncology knowledge, hematology/oncology fellowship training, and prior R&D experience at pharma or biotech firms. The role is located in one of several U.S. sites (no remote), with up to 10% travel.
