Your Role
The Data and Analytics Director is responsible for building, executing and maintaining oversight of Commercial Data to drive insights, measure performance and drive growth of SpringWorks therapeutics products. This role will be hands-on as well as directing to ensure we have clear data mapping, data governance and data analysis. The role will lead the integration and cross-functional collaboration with SP Data Aggregator vendor, PSS vendor, distribution vendors and SpringWorks IT and Trade teams to ensure accurate, timely and relevant data.
Location Classification
This role will be required to work onsite 2 days a week (Tuesday and Wednesday), or more depending on business needs.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Create and execute data strategy, develop and retain command of SpringWorks national data, data processing rules, report generation, distribution, and reconciliation.
- Lead the evolution of weekly and monthly KPI reporting, refinement of launch dashboards, effectively communicate brand performance to inform the stakeholders on business decision-making.
- Drive deep-dive data analytics to solve business challenges, manage internal data customer inquiries, data investigations, and enhancement requests, including data from the SPs, Patient Services, and the data warehouse, as well as associated corrections/resolutions.
- Lead meetings with vendors and manage their services to resolve data issues including negotiating contracts measuring their performance, issue resolution and escalation.
- Discover, contract and onboard new data sources and enhancements to reporting platform to meet evolving brand needs.
- Proactively manage data files, business rules, vendor reporting, and associated methods, approaches, techniques, and technologies.
- Seek to understand and support internal customer experience based on end-user and cross-functional stakeholder experience and feedback, with a focus on optimal use, decision making, cost optimization and rapid evolution as needs expand.
- Lead the review inquiry queue and updates to the Data Warehouse Change Request Board and ensure reports are continuously refined based on internal customer requirements, and document as required.
- Maintain user access controls and ensure audience is informed of confidentiality and inquiry processes.
- Proactively identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality of data management.
- Develop and maintain documentation of current data sources, raw data, data marts, transformations, and report specifications.
- Effectively manage multiple projects with varying levels of engagement, scope, and specifications.
- Create and engage in feedback forums with end users to continue to refine Data & Analytics team performance.
- Seek new and dynamic data sources to help greater inform brand and SpringWorks on evolving markets while making data usable.
Role Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Science, Engineering, Statistics or related field is required.
- 9+ years’ experience in pharmaceutical data, reporting and analytics all working in the Pharma industry.
- Oncology or rare/orphan drug experience preferred.
- Launch experience at biotech.
- Experience working with claims, patient level sources, forecasting, and Power BI.
- Working within external or internal data warehouse.
- Problem analysis and critical thinking experience.
- Team focused mentality.
- Highly driven, self-motivated individual who demonstrates initiative.
- Experience with launch data concepts and using collection techniques can be used to track prescribing behavior.
- Strong project management experience, including a strong willingness to take on responsibility and initiative.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with other departments, vendors, and consultants on a daily basis.
- Ability to work with people from diverse functional backgrounds.
- Desire to work in a dynamic, results-oriented, and growing company.
- Knowledge of BI tools, Veeva CRM, Commercial databases, and their application to pharma business processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Excel (Pivot tables, Vlookup, Macros, If Statements, Formulas), Access, PowerPoint and MicroStrategy Analytics Platform.
- Intimate familiarity of IMS data (e.g. SMART, NPS, NPS, nRx, TRx IMS data etc.), statistical data software (SPSS and/or SAS), and Symphony is required.
- Ability to travel occasionally including overnight stay driven by business need. This position must be able to work East Coast hours.

Compensation And Benefits
The expected salary range for this position is $167,000 – $225,000. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
