Responsibilities
- Set and drive technical direction for Data Enablement & Platforms team: scalability, reliability, compliant workflows.
- Create value-focused roadmaps; own budget/resource allocation.
- Translate product roadmaps into scalable architectures and development plans; assess feasibility/risks/dependencies.
- Ensure regulated content governance with security/data controls and medical/legal/regulatory alignment.
- Lead/develop Technical Leads for: centralized data mastering (HCP/HCO/payer/patient/product), data stewardship across domains, and standardized customer/payer/patient data products.
- Act as primary technical accountability for data master domains; coordinate integrations and dependencies.
- Resolve cross-team issues impacting performance/adoption; align with data & AI enablement leaders.
Required skills/knowledge/abilities
- Enterprise data/platform architecture; cloud-based data services; scalable engineering frameworks.
- Secure, reliable, compliant data platforms at enterprise scale (pharma/healthcare preferred).
- Data integration (patterns/APIs) and governed data flows; enterprise data enablement (shared services, mastering, analytics-ready products).
- Evolving MDM as an enterprise product; identity resolution and consent/preference management.
- End-to-end data stewardship; Agile product operating models.
- Security/privacy/regulatory understanding for access and compliant usage.
- Technical program leadership across multi-team, multi-vendor initiatives.
- Lead/develop high-performing teams.
Qualifications
- BS in CS/engineering/IS or related.
- 10+ years post-BS (or 8+ post-MS) in data engineering/enterprise platform delivery.
- 3+ years as Tech Lead/TPM/Eng Manager.
- 6–8 years leading people.
- 10–20% travel.
