Key result areas (major duties, accountabilities and responsibilities)
- Acts as operational backbone to the ICSC and Project Manager to the Brand Core and Extended Teams: owns agendas, pre-reads, minutes, decision logs, and action tracking; chases actions and enforces accountability across senior cross-functional leaders.
- Develops partnerships with the ICSC Chair, strategic pillar leads (Medical Affairs, Market Access, Commercial, Business Operations), and Brand Team members to translate commercial strategy into integrated, executable launch plans.
- Drives execution of cross-functionally integrated commercial plans in line with corporate, portfolio, and brand strategy, goals, and objectives; ensures alignment across ICSC, Brand Core, and Brand Extended Teams without rework or duplication.
- Facilitates goal/objective setting, tracking, and progress reporting to CCSO, ICSC, PRC, and Senior Management (including Quarterly Business Review).
- Owns commercial program risk management: identifies/assesses key risks, develops mitigation strategies, and escalates appropriately.
- Navigates program governance per the uniQure Governance Model to enable timely decisions across ICSC, DevCo, Strategic Alignment Council, Global Product Strategy Team, and Brand Teams.
- Partners with Marketing to project manage end-to-end CMLR review/approval cycle in Veeva PromoMats; ensures on-time approvals and serves as primary operational contact for external marketing agency submission workflows, version control, and timelines.
- Champions networking and exemplifies ONEuniQure mindset.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelorβs degree required; advanced degree (MS, MBA, PharmD, PhD) or related degree with substantial project/program management leadership experience preferred; project/program management certification is a plus.
- Experience managing complex, cross-functional R&D and commercial programs in pharma/biotech; facilitated senior governance forums with C-suite/SVP/VP-level participants; managed at least one full commercial product launch (rare/specialty disease preferred); experience in gene therapy/cell therapy preferred.
- Track record across internal/external stakeholders; strong problem-solving and proactive risk mitigation; accountability in matrix environments; urgency and patient centricity; strategic thinking and communication/influencing skills.
- Familiar with major project planning tools, ideally Smartsheet.
