Position Summary
As Director, Customer Data Management Lead (Payer Data Strategy and Governance), you own the strategy and execution of the Payer MDM function for US Commercial Data Management supporting Market Access, Patient Services, Commercial, Compliance, and Legal. Define and drive payer data strategy to ensure trusted, governed data enabling data-driven decisions across Commercial, Medical, and Market Access. Own end-to-end business and data processes, driving integrity, governance, and quality at scale across all Therapeutic Areas.

Main Responsibilities
- Define and own the comprehensive Payer Data strategy enterprise-wide (vision for management, governance, and leverage).
- Align Payer data assets with Business Units and Therapeutic Areas to ensure consistency across Market Access, Patient Services, Commercial, Compliance, and Legal.
- Ensure Payer data products are discoverable, trusted, and usable by analytics, operations, and business stakeholders.
- Define and enforce business rules, data definitions, and quality standards at enterprise and Therapeutic Area levels.
- Collaborate with Market Access and GTMC functions to ensure accurate, consistent utilization of Payer data.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies (partnering with Audit, Legal, Compliance).
- Monitor and continuously improve data quality, completeness, and timeliness.
- Lead stewardship: issue resolution, root-cause analysis, continuous improvement.
- Ensure thorough documentation of data products (metadata, lineage, usage guidelines).
- Lead and manage teams; mentor and provide development; champion governance best practices.

About You (Education)
- BS in Life Sciences, Data Science, Business, or related field β€” required
- MS β€” preferred

Experience/Qualifications (Required/Preferred)
- 7+ years in data management roles within life sciences commercial operations β€” required
- Deep expertise in Payer data and Plan/Payer/PBM hierarchies
- Hands-on utilization of Payer data from industry sources (e.g., IQVIA, MMIT)
- Strong understanding of Payer data in Market Access and Commercial processes
- Demonstrated experience representing Payer data owner function across Market Access and Commercial organizations
- Familiarity with access pull-through, coverage forecasting, formulary placement
- Experience establishing a Payer MDM framework
- Background with life sciences commercial data assets (Rx, Sales, Product, APLD, etc.)
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and collaborate with Digital/Analytics teams
