Role: Director of Critical Utilities and Facility Management providing strategic leadership for the campus Central Utility Plant and MEP operations at Regeneron. Responsibilities: develop long-term operational strategies, oversee maintenance and reliability programs, lead organizational design and workforce planning, and ensure uninterrupted utility services (electricity, chilled water, steam, emergency power) in a high-complexity biotech setting. Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, R&D, EH&S, Quality, and Capital Projects; manage vendor governance, performance metrics, budgets, and risk mitigation. Requirements: Bachelor's in Mechanical, Electrical, or Energy Engineering or 15+ years equivalent experience; 10+ years leading power plant or utility operations within a hybrid facility management model; strong vendor and contract management skills; proficiency with BAS platforms (e.g., Metasys, EcoStruxure). Preferred: experience with high-risk environments, team leadership across internal and external providers, safety and regulatory compliance, and flexibility for up to 25% travel.
