Director, Core & Cloud Infrastructure

Role: Senior leader responsible for Alkermes' core infrastructure and cloud operations, shaping strategy, modernization, and daily management to ensure security, reliability, and scalability across multiple global facilities. Responsibilities: oversee infrastructure services including compute, virtualization, storage, networking, and cloud platforms; lead modernization efforts to enhance resilience, security, and cost efficiency; manage vendor relationships and service provider performance; develop and execute infrastructure roadmaps; ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards in a GxP environment; lead a team of four direct reports and coordinate with external service providers. Requirements: 12+ years in enterprise infrastructure, cloud, and technology operations; extensive experience in infrastructure engineering, solution delivery, and cloud management; broad technical expertise across platforms, networking, storage, and automation; proven leadership in large-scale modernization and vendor governance; bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Preferred: experience in regulated industries like biotech or healthcare; familiarity with GxP, FDA, HIPAA, GDPR; supporting global infrastructure in compliance-heavy environments.
