Director, Construction

Role: Senior construction leader overseeing all activities for a ~$500 million pharmaceutical capital project, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient delivery aligned with regulatory and quality standards. Responsibilities: lead construction management including contractors, trades, and cross-functional teams; develop strategies for constructability, schedule, budget, and risk mitigation; oversee safety programs and compliance; coordinate with engineering, procurement, CQV, and operations for seamless project execution; manage change orders, cost controls, and quality documentation; support regulatory readiness and facility startup. Requirements: BS in Engineering or equivalent; over 20 years in construction management, preferably within the biopharma industry; proven experience managing large-scale projects, EPC/EPCM contractors, and cross-functional teams; strong negotiation, risk management, and leadership skills; ability to mentor others. High-Value: biopharma (preferably U.S.-based), mega-capital projects ($500MM+), pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities, regulatory compliance, safety culture, schedule and cost management, global vendor oversight. WorkSetup: travel within the U.S. and internationally as needed.
