Position Summary:
Director, Commercial Sourcing and Procurement. Lead the development of SG&A (Commercial, IT, Professional services, Legal, Contingent Workforce) sourcing strategies for key North America vendors; identify/assess/select, negotiate, execute contracts, and manage vendor relationships. Based in San Diego, CA; San Francisco, CA; or Princeton, NJ.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop immediate and long-term SG&A sourcing strategies for Commercial, IT, and professional services.
- Partner with senior executives to identify sourcing needs; align strategies with business goals.
- Assess, benchmark, negotiate key SG&A vendor contracts and conduct gap analysis.
- Collaborate with Finance FP&A on vendor cost budgeting, forecasting, and savings validation.
- Monitor industry trends and automation (e.g., AI in procurement) to continuously improve sourcing.
- Establish SG&A vendor governance (optimization, risk assessment, operational performance evaluation).

Education/Experience/Skills:
- 12+ years sourcing experience; leadership managing large vendor spend portfolios and global collaboration.
- Experience developing/executing SG&A category strategies in complex environments.
- Strong negotiation and vendor benchmarking across IT contracts (SaaS, consulting, managed services); consulting/legal sourcing is a plus.
- Proficient with procurement systems: Coupa (S2P), Agiloft (CLM), and upcoming AI sourcing tools.
- Familiar with savings reporting methods and tools (e.g., Smartsheet).
- BS/BA or equivalent.

- Seek innovative ways to deliver tangible savings/results; communicate strategies clearly.
- Ensure compliance with corporate compliance SOPs; travel up to 5%.

- Discretionary bonus and equity; Salary Range: $178,000–$222,900.
