Role Summary

Director, Commercial Performance Analytics & Insights. Global Commercial Analytics (GCA) harnesses data to drive analytical insights informing Pfizer's critical business questions. The role partners with senior stakeholders in the Chief Marketing Office (CMO) and other groups to drive performance tracking and reporting for commercial performance, standardize the reporting ecosystem, and implement best-practice insights generation processes. The role is dynamic, fast-paced, and highly collaborative, contributing to proactive thought leadership and innovative research capabilities within a global team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide thought partnership in building and standardizing the commercial reporting ecosystem
  • Act as strategic partner to frame, investigate, and answer key business questions related to organization-wide performance reporting, including executive reporting
  • Lead identification of information needs and development of project plans
  • Develop and execute creation of in-house datasets to drive patient and HCP insights into care infrastructure
  • Connect reporting insights to tell a compelling story and deliver actionable recommendations to senior leadership
  • Collaborate with other analytical teams to ensure cohesive activities and standardization of performance metrics
  • Contribute to capabilities advancement through knowledge sharing and thought leadership
  • Lead dialogue to adapt global strategies and standardize performance metrics and tracking
  • Partner with other analytics functions to use novel data sources and reporting, including real-world data and data science
  • Fluency in English; strong analytical, coding (Python, R, SQL), MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to synthesize inputs and communicate the story to commercial leadership
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in market research methodologies and secondary data analytics
  • Identify, prioritize, and describe data caveats and uncertainties in relation to business questions

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in Biopharma, analytics, strategic consulting, business, or related area
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred in a quantitative discipline
  • Analytics, statistics and/or database knowledge and experience
  • Demonstrated success in a fast-paced setting
  • Ability to identify issues, trends, and opportunities from data
  • Ability to influence without authority, set direction, priorities, and action plans
  • Demonstrated analytical capabilities and critical thinking skills
  • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Customer service orientation
