Director, Commercial Operations-East
Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary liaison between commercial operations and field colleagues.
- Guide field CRM implementation and ongoing maintenance with CRM implementation vendor; collaborate with Sales, Medical Affairs, and Market Access.
- Review incentive compensation and Rx allocation challenges.
- Manage field alignment: field roster, zip-to-territory mapping, HCO/HCP targeting/alignment, and DCRs using input from field colleagues and analytics vendor.
- Maintain roster management.
- Coordinate and manage sample operations and logistics with sampling vendor and field colleagues.
- Coordinate fleet operations and logistics with fleet vendor and field leadership.
- Train field colleagues on subnational data sources, reporting tools, CRM, sampling, and fleet logistics.
- Facilitate credentialing and state licensing for field colleagues.
- Additional support: lead CRM implementation/training/administration and lead sampling logistics/fleet vendor management.
Skills/Attributes:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to train cross-functional colleagues.
- PowerPoint presentation skills.
- Reporting tools experience.
- Veeva commercial platforms (e.g., Veeva CRM, OpenData/Network).
- Experience with incentive compensation reporting and challenges.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years in biotech/pharmaceutical industry.
- 3+ years commercial operations or field training.
- 3+ years field experience as a representative/1L manager/medical science liaison.
- Preferred: experience managing multiple vendors (CRM design, incentive compensation, sampling, fleet).
- Required: experience working with internal customers (field teams).
- Demonstrated success optimizing field force effectiveness using performance metrics and deployment/alignment/targeting strategies.
Travel: Up to 15% (frequently overnight/outside local area).
