Director, Commercial Operations

Role: Director of Commercial Operations overseeing CDMO business development and client engagement. Responsibilities: lead end-to-end commercial processes for proposals, SOWs, pricing, contracts, change orders; partner with Business Development, technical, operational, and cross-functional teams; develop and manage proposals, pricing, contract reviews, scope changes, and revenue tracking; improve scalable commercial workflows and reporting; serve as primary liaison and support governance and continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements: Bachelor’s in business, finance, engineering, life sciences, or related; 10+ years in commercial operations, proposal management, or business development within pharma, biotech, or CDMO/CMO environments; 5+ years in supervisory roles; strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills; proficiency with MS Office, CRM, ERP, and contract management systems. Preferred: MBA, experience with GMP manufacturing, technology transfer, analytical services, lean manufacturing, operational excellence, and VSM/Kaizen experience.
