Key responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end commercial execution for CDMO opportunities, including proposals, PSDs, SOWs, pricing, contracts, and commercial change orders.
- Partner with Business Development and customers to clarify project scope, requirements, assumptions, pricing, commercial terms, and changes while supporting a consistent customer experience.
- Lead cross-functional coordination with technical, operational, quality, regulatory, supply chain, finance, legal, and program management teams to gather and integrate required inputs.
- Translate complex technical and operational information into clear, accurate, customer-facing documentation and communications.
- Manage proposal and SOW/PSD development (timelines, deliverables, approvals, document control, revisions, submission readiness).
- Coordinate pricing development and commercial reviews to align scope, cost assumptions, pricing, customer requirements, capacity, risk, and approved commercial terms.
- Coordinate contract and MSA review activities to ensure alignment between commitments, pricing, scope, and customer requirements.
- Lead evaluation/coordination of customer scope changes and commercial change orders (scoped, priced, approved, documented, communicated).
- Maintain visibility into commercial milestones, commitments, change orders, billing triggers, risks, dependencies, and revenue activities.
- Identify scope gaps/inconsistencies/risks/unresolved issues and drive resolution or escalation.
- Serve as primary internal commercial liaison between Business Development and operational functions.
- Develop and improve scalable commercial processes, workflows, templates, controls, systems, and reporting.
- Support Revenue Operations governance, leadership reporting, continuous improvement, and capability/team development.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelorโ€™s degree in business administration, finance, engineering, life sciences, supply chain, or related field (MBA/advanced degree preferred).
- 10+ yearsโ€™ progressive experience in relevant commercial/program/finance roles in pharma/biotech/CDMO/CMO/CRO/life sciences.
- 5+ yearsโ€™ supervisory/management experience.
- Excellent written/verbal communication with senior stakeholders.
- Business development and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; CRM/ERP/contract management/workflow/reporting systems.
- Strong problem-solving; strong understanding of pharma development/manufacturing/tech transfer/analytical services/packaging/GMP (CDMO experience strongly preferred).
- Strong commercial and financial acumen.
- Demonstrated leadership/interpersonal effectiveness; knowledge of lean/operational excellence preferred.
- Experience leading/supporting Kaizen events and VSM/problem-solving initiatives.
