Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute an integrated commercial analytics strategy supporting pre-launch and post-launch optimization
- Analyze market trends, HCP and patient engagement data, and early launch metrics to guide brand and access strategies
- Monitor and interpret KPIs (new patient starts, conversion, adherence, call activity)
- Influence sales analytics framework for field force performance, territory optimization, and incentive compensation
- Guide patient-based forecasting models using epidemiology, diagnosis and treatment journey dynamics, access variability, and rare disease market constraints; track launch performance vs. forecast
- Partner with Finance, Supply Chain, and other departments on demand planning, inventory management, and long-range planning
- Identify and guide primary market research design with physicians, patients, and caregivers
- Generate insights on patient journeys, treatment paradigms, stakeholder unmet needs, and messaging receptivity to inform positioning and launch tactics
- Synthesize qualitative and quantitative findings into actionable strategy for cross-functional teams
- Establish and maintain a fit-for-purpose competitive intelligence capability
- Monitor competitor activities (clinical development, regulatory events, commercial strategy, advocacy engagement)
Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree required; MBA/MS/PharmD/PhD strongly preferred
- 7+ years in commercial analytics and insights (forecasting, market research, data analytics, competitive intelligence) in biotech/pharma; rare disease/specialty experience highly preferred
- 2+ years of leadership experience
- Proven experience supporting/leading product launches, ideally with limited precedent/data availability
- Experience with rare disease data sources, epidemiology-based forecasting, and stakeholder mapping
- Expertise in U.S. healthcare data sources (e.g., specialty pharmacy, claims, IQVIA, Symphony, Komodo, Veeva CRM)
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; analytics/visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
- Strong storytelling, communication, and executive presentation skills
- Demonstrated curiosity and adaptability in adopting AI-powered tools/technologies
