Director, CMC Process Chemistry

Role: Director, Process Chemistry at IDEAYA Biosciences, leading process chemistry efforts for small molecule and ADC payload/linker development, supporting drug substance production from preclinical to clinical and commercial stages. Responsibilities: manage multiple CDMOs, author and review technical reports, ensure compliance with regulatory standards (IND/IMPD/NDA), facilitate technology transfer, troubleshoot manufacturing issues, and collaborate across teams including Medicinal Chemistry, DMPK, Analytical Chemistry, and Regulatory affairs to meet project timelines. Requirements: Ph.D. in Chemistry with 8+ years (or M.Sc. with 12+ years) of relevant experience, proven success in late-phase and commercial CMC activities, experience with ADC payload/linker manufacturing, and knowledge of quality systems and regulatory guidance (ICH, FDA, EMA).
