Director, CMC Digital Operations and Strategic Portfolio Lead

Role: Lead digital portfolio management for Moderna's CMC Digital organization, focusing on strategic digital initiatives across the enterprise. Responsibilities: own and execute a defined digital portfolio, translating business priorities into clear goals, roadmaps, and operational plans; oversee governance, prioritization, dependency and risk management; build stakeholder trust, facilitate cross-functional collaboration, and drive operational excellence; develop dashboards and narratives to communicate strategy and performance; manage resource allocation, budgets, and compliance considerations; embed security, privacy, and audit standards into execution; monitor KPIs and outcomes to guide decision-making. Requirements: BA/BS in IT, Business, Life Sciences, or Engineering; 12+ years in digital operations, portfolio management, or technical program management within regulated life sciences/pharma environments; proven experience overseeing complex cross-functional programs with senior stakeholder engagement; strong understanding of portfolio governance, Agile, and digital transformation in CMC or manufacturing contexts; excellent communication and influence skills; proficiency in financial, risk, and capacity planning. Preferred: advanced degrees (MS/MBA), experience with digital platforms, AI/ML, lab automation, and digital CMC transformation initiatives; strategic and analytical mindset to guide investments and change management.
