Director, Clinical Science

Responsibilities:
- Write technical and clinical documents including protocols, amendments, investigatorโ€™s brochures, and clinical sections of regulatory documents
- Identify and track potential safety events within a trial
- Collaborate with investigators and oncology thought leaders to facilitate design of clinical synopses and protocols
- Evaluate safety, pharmacology, and efficacy of ongoing studies with medical monitor, safety/pharmacology, and clinical operations teams
- Organize and perform study-level and subject-level analysis of clinical trial data to support clinical study report (CSR) writing
- Contribute to writing/review of abstracts and publications and support presentations for scientific meetings
- Maintain oncology therapeutic area clinical and technical expertise
- Attend scientific meetings pertinent to clinical science activities

Additional responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Medical Monitor on review of enrollment packets, clinical development plans, and scientific presentations
- Collaborate with Clinical Operations to develop Informed Consent Forms, Case Report Forms, and CRF instructions
- Participate in ongoing clinical data review with cross-functional teams
- Collaborate on agendas, training materials, and presentations for site visits/investigator meetings
- Ensure adherence to SOPs and company values; lead by example ethically

Qualifications (Knowledge/Experience):
- PhD or PharmD strongly preferred
- Oncology clinical development experience required
- Minimum 8 years in biotech/pharmaceutical industry
- Strong knowledge of GCP, FDA, and EMEA/CHMP regulations (other international requirements a plus)

Benefits/Compensation:
- Base pay range: $220,000โ€“$250,000 annually; total compensation includes equity and bonus and benefits

Location/Travel:
- San Francisco, CA or Cambridge, MA; up to 20% travel
