Role Summary

Director- Clinical Research Scientist (Cardiovascular/Cardiometabolic Health) within the Cardiometabolic Health Global Medical Affairs team, contributing to medical, scientific, and strategic initiatives to advance patient outcomes in the cardiovascular portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Role includes support to Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) reviews, brand and medical planning, implementation of medical tactics.
  • Contribute to Global Medical Information, Medical Education, Internal Training, evidence generation and scientific data disclosure and support to Commercial teams.
  • Identify opportunities for secondary /post hoc analyses of clinical trials.
  • Provide input to Integrated Evidence Generation (IEG) process as needed.
  • Partner with commercial teams for specific tactics, medical review of promotional materials.
  • Team member for potential contributions to brand and medical planning and implementing tactics of the plans.
  • Support Medical Education through design, content creation and implementation of tactics
  • Train Medical and other functions on data as needed
  • Support Medical Information through input to cFAQs and other documents.
  • Support Phase 3b–4 and Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) studies as needed.

Qualifications

  • Advanced medical related graduate degree, such as: PharmD, PhD, MSN with advanced clinical specialty (Clinical Nurse Specialist/Nurse Practitioner) with 10+ years of experience in related scientific field (cardiovascular disease experience strongly preferred).
