Role: Principal Scientist overseeing clinical research for late-stage development of medicines in the Metabolism area, focusing on obesity and related disorders. Responsibilities: plan, initiate, monitor, analyze, and report on clinical trials spanning all phases; collaborate with cross-functional teams including regulatory, manufacturing, and external investigators; support business development and external research collaborations; author development documents and presentations; maintain scientific knowledge and investigator networks; travel ~20% for project management. Requirements: MD or MD/PhD; at least 3 years in clinical medicine and 1 year in industry drug development or biomedical research; proven research achievement; strong communication and teamwork skills. Preferred: Board certification in endocrinology, gastroenterology, or related fields; prior clinical research and publication experience.
