Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic clinical lead voice for the ATTR amyloidosis program; drive clinical development strategies and operational excellence for associated trials.
- Develop creative but realistic drug development approaches; lead efforts toward global regulatory approvals.
- Provide oversight of trial conduct and safety.
- Provide strategic consultation to Research on decisions with clinical impact; collaborate with Preclinical, Regulatory Affairs, and Medical Affairs for integrated product development plans.
- Own relevant timelines and deliverables through Clinical Research and Operations.
- Supervise major written deliverables (regulatory submissions, original articles, abstracts) and presentation materials.
- Final review and sign-off for controlled documents (protocols, investigator brochures, informed consent forms).
- Influence internal/external audiences; represent Development at external meetings (including regulatory and scientific meetings).
- Hybrid role: 2 days/week onsite in Cambridge, MA or Philadelphia, PA.

Qualifications:
- MD with strong research background or MD/PhD with top-tier clinical and/or research training (research support and peer-reviewed publications).
- Board Certification (or equivalent) or specialist training in cardiology.
- Desirable: expertise in heart failure and/or amyloidosis.
- 3+ years industry experience or equivalent clinical academic experience.
- Sound scientific/clinical judgment; clinical research and trial design knowledge (incl. biostatistics) and regulatory guidelines/practices.
- Strong written/oral communication; leadership and collaboration in a matrix environment.
- Experience working with biotech/pharma partners; thrives in entrepreneurial biotech environment.

Benefits/Compensation (as stated):
- Base pay range: $255,000.00–$345,000.00; eligible for annual short-term incentive and annual long-term incentive.
