Director, Clinical Pharmacology

Role: Senior Clinical Pharmacology leader responsible for guiding PK/PD strategies across multiple projects within AbbVie's drug development pipeline. Objectives include providing scientific expertise, strategic consultation, and regulatory support to advance candidate compounds. Responsibilities encompass leading Clinical Pharmacology activities, managing project timelines, conducting risk assessments, reviewing clinical protocols and reports for regulatory submissions, and representing Pharmacology in business development efforts. The role may involve managing teams, mentoring, and process improvement initiatives. Requirements include a PhD with 7+ years or PharmD with 9+ years relevant experience in PK, PBPK, Pharmacometrics, or systems pharmacology, with demonstrated leadership in clinical pharmacology across various phases. Knowledge of drug development processes, regulatory standards, and experience in multiple therapeutic areas, including immunology, oncology, or neuroscience, are preferred.
