Director, Clinical Pharmacology

Role: Lead Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacometric activities within biopharma R&D, guiding drug development strategies and regulatory interactions. Responsibilities: independently oversee complex PK/PD projects, contribute to development plans, evaluate scientific data, lead regulatory submissions and responses, conduct due diligence, and drive process improvements. Manage departmental goals, make strategic PK/PD decisions, and lead cross-functional teams. Qualifications: PhD with 9+ years or PharmD with 11+ years of relevant experience, including PK, PBPK, PK-PD, and systems pharmacology; strong leadership and project management skills; preferred expertise in multiple therapeutic areas and experience across development phases. High-value: focus on biologics or small molecules possibly within immunology, oncology, neuroscience, or eye care; involvement in early to late-stage clinical development; significant regulatory interaction; hybrid work setup (Lake County, IL, 3x/week). Collaboration: liaises with senior management, regulatory agencies, and cross-functional teams.
