Role: Clinical Research Physician (CRP) specializing in early clinical development with a focus on clinical pharmacology, contributing to Lilly's pipeline in Cardiometabolic, Immunology, or Neurology. Responsibilities: design and oversee Phase 1 and 2 studies, support first-in-human and mechanistic studies, develop clinical and biomarker strategies, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams including discovery research, safety, and regulatory affairs. Lead clinical trial execution, including protocol development, safety monitoring, and data dissemination; support regulatory submissions; and contribute to scientific publications and external stakeholder engagement. Requirements: MD or DO with board eligibility or certification; 2+ years pharmaceutical industry experience; expertise in clinical pharmacology, trial design, and regulatory standards; fluency in English; strong communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred: experience in endocrinology, diabetes, cardiovascular, or renal research; additional scientific degrees (M.S., Ph.D.); global trial experience; domestic and international travel (~10-15%).
