Director, Clinical Operations

Role: Senior leader overseeing global Clinical Operations for all phases of neuropharmaceutical development at Neurocrine Biosciences. Objectives: develop and execute clinical strategies, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage external and internal stakeholders to deliver clinical studies on time, within scope, and budget. Responsibilities: lead the clinical study team, oversee CRO/vendor relationships, establish metrics for performance, manage budgets and timelines, and foster continuous process improvement. Qualifications: BS/BA with 12+ years or advanced degree with 10+ years in clinical research within pharma, biotech, or CRO, with extensive experience in global endocrine-related or rare disease studies. Must demonstrate expertise in regulatory (FDA, EU), GCP, and ICH guidelines, with proven leadership, strategic vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration skills. High-Value: Endocrine/rare disease indications, global clinical trial management, experience directing late-phase studies, and strong regulatory knowledge.
