Position Summary
The Director, Clinical Educator Team, manages, leads and develops a team of field-based Clinical Educators who guide patients and caregivers through therapy initiation and long-term continuation. Ensures seamless onboarding, clear education using Praxis-approved materials, and proactive barrier removal throughout the therapy journey. Partners cross-functionally to improve patient experience and drive measurable impact.
Primary Responsibilities
- Recruit, develop, manage and lead a team of Clinical Educators; set expectations and foster ownership, caring candor, and results.
- Establish performance standards and measurable objectives for initiation, persistence, patient satisfaction, and quality documentation.
- Coach team members on compliant in-home/community engagement and cross-functional coordination.
- Ensure consistent and compliant use of the Patient Services CRM/platforms to document interactions, track barriers, and generate insights.
- Partner with Care Coordinators, Field Reimbursement Managers, Specialty Pharmacies, and internal stakeholders for seamless patient-journey coordination.
- Monitor field trends, patient feedback, and operational challenges; translate insights into scalable best practices.
- Maintain compliance with approved materials, HIPAA requirements, and company policies.
- Serve as voice of the team to the home office to support strategic planning and patient experience optimization.
Qualifications and Key Success Factors
- Bachelorβs degree required; advanced clinical/healthcare degree preferred.
- 7+ years in patient services/rare disease support/CNS-focused programs or similar field-based healthcare roles.
- 3+ years people leadership experience managing field-based teams.
- Demonstrated success building/scaling patient-facing support programs.
- Strong specialty pharmacy workflows, access coordination, and therapy onboarding knowledge.
- Exceptional coaching; analytical mindset using CRM/operational data.
- High emotional intelligence; disciplined execution and accountability.
- Deep commitment to patient impact and continuous improvement.
- CNS-focused program experience strongly preferred.
Expectation / Travel
- Remote with travel and ride-alongs as needed (30β50%).
Compensation
Annualized Base Salary: $215,000β$238,000.
