Role: Director of Clinical Development at Acadia Pharmaceuticals, leading the creation and execution of global clinical strategies for neuropsychiatric and rare disease therapies. Responsibilities: oversee clinical study planning, implementation, data analysis, and reporting; foster relationships with investigators and thought leaders; support regulatory submissions; contribute to lifecycle management of compounds; ensure compliance with GxP and regulatory standards; review business development opportunities. Requirements: MD or equivalent, Board Certification/Eligibility preferred; 3+ years in clinical practice, research, or pharma industry; experience with clinical monitoring, development plans, and multiple development phases; strong relationships in depression, mood disorders, rare diseases, or neurology; excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills; ability to work in a geographically diverse team and travel domestically and internationally. High-Value: neuropsychiatric, neurodegenerative (Alzheimer's, Lewy body dementia), rare diseases, clinical development from early to late phases, regulatory interactions, hybrid work model in San Diego, San Francisco, or Princeton, with an average of three days in-office.
