Director, Clinical Development

Role: Director of Clinical Development overseeing all phases of clinical drug development with a focus on rare diseases. Responsibilities: lead the design, review, and approval of clinical trial protocols, manage external vendors and investigator sites, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, interpret and document clinical data for reports and publications, and contribute to strategic clinical decisions and external stakeholder interactions. Requirements: MD degree with minimum 2 years' experience in clinical drug development within pharma/biotech, demonstrated experience managing global clinical programs, expertise in trial design, data interpretation, and regulatory submissions. HighValue: experience in rare/orphan disease clinical development, knowledge of pharma R&D and regulatory landscape, up-to-date with GCP/GxP standards, ability to influence cross-functionally, proficiency in MS Office, willing to travel up to 25%. WorkSetup: primarily office-based with domestic/international travel.
