Position Summary:
- Director, CDA Strategy: Deliver strategy, technology roadmap, and processes for acquiring clinical trial data; keep site/patient experience central; enable end-to-end data strategies for analysis/reporting; promote automation.
Position Responsibilities:
- Define and drive clinical data acquisition strategy (site/EDC, external vendor, eCOA, device/digital), integrating with end-to-end data strategies; develop roadmaps to promote automation and embed AI.
- Define processes/technologies/data flows for new or updated data types; ensure standardization and end-to-end integration.
- Develop data collection components optimizing site/patient experience and meeting downstream analysis/reporting needs.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives (e.g., EMRโEDC) including charters, plans, sponsorship/implementation communications, and delivery start-to-finish.
- Create senior-leadership communications and proposals (including business cases).
- Make decisions, solve complex problems, and deliver on accountabilities.
- Stay current on industry evolution to improve UX, leverage automation/AI, drive efficiencies, and invest ahead of trends.
- Maintain procedural documents aligned to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Build relationships across GDM, DQS, Drug Development, and with key vendors/partners; represent BMS in relevant groups.
Degree / Experience Requirements:
- Bachelorโs required; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years in clinical data acquisition strategy/technology/process across modalities, including integration, automation, and AI.
Key Competency Requirements:
- Expertise in clinical data acquisition end-to-end flows and technologies (EDC incl. Medidata Rave, external vendor data, eCOA, digital/device data).
- Experience leveraging automation/AI; planning/executing cross-functional strategic projects.
- Decision-making, problem-solving, and initiative delivery.
- Strong communication (incl. business cases); knowledge of GCP/ICH; collaborative leadership.

- Starting base range: $225,100โ$272,765 (Cambridge Crossing) or $200,980โ$243,544 (Madison/Giralda or Princeton, NJ).
