Director, Clinical Business Operations

Role: The Director of Clinical Business Operations leads strategic and operational initiatives to optimize clinical trial execution within a biopharma setting focused on cancer therapeutics. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining processes, metrics, governance frameworks, and reporting systems to ensure efficient clinical operations, resource planning, and performance management across cross-functional teams such as Clinical Trials Management, Data Sciences, and Systems. The role supports organizational planning, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making, while overseeing systems like eTMF and CTMS to enhance operational effectiveness. It involves close collaboration with Clinical Operations leadership to identify risks, improve organizational effectiveness, and align operational activities with strategic goals. Qualifications: Bachelor's in science or healthcare; 10-12+ years of experience managing large, complex Phase 3 clinical trials, especially in oncology/hematology, with proven vendor and external partner management skills. Leads should possess strong financial acumen, excellent communication, analytical, and leadership abilities, with deep knowledge of GCP and ICH guidelines.
