Purpose and Responsibilities
- Generate insights and transfer knowledge on environmental trends, policy, and payer/channel dynamics; incorporate into company and brand strategies.
- Catalyze innovative access solutions across in-line and pipeline assets; influence and align across Executive Leadership, USMAx, Payer Strategy, Pipeline Strategy, Brand Teams, and External Affairs.
- Collaborate with Payer Strategy, Pipeline, Trade, and Account teams to ensure channel deliverables are fit-for-purpose; share accountability to pull through recommendations.
- Partner on prioritized strategic projects critical to the brand.
- Consult with Pipeline and Business Development to inform licensing/acquisition in light of channel dynamics.
- Work with USMAx leadership, Government/Public Affairs, Business Evolution & Strategy Development, IRA Center of Excellence, and others; inform/influence policy externally.
- Orchestrate projects across internal and external partners (agencies, consultants, customers, Market Access Insights).
- Create customer connections with Account Management; influence customer views to align with AbbVie market approaches.

Qualifications (Required/Preferred)
- Bachelorโs in science/business; advanced degree preferred (MBA, MS, PharmD, PhD).
- Minimum 10 years in Pharmaceutical Market Access, Healthcare, or Policy.
- Expertise in US access, reimbursement, and pricing (pharmacy and medical); knowledge of payer dynamics (PBM, Medicare, Medicaid, etc.).
- Cross-functional experience (marketing, customer engagement/negotiation, finance, regulatory, R&D, medical, HEOR).
- Strong communication, storytelling, executive presence; stakeholder relationship building.
