Purpose Of Role And Responsibilities:
- Generate insights and transfer knowledge on environmental trends, policy, and payer/channel dynamics; embed insights into company and brand strategies.
- Develop and catalyze access solutions across in-line and pipeline assets; align across Executive Leadership, USMAx, Payer Strategy, Pipeline Strategy, Brand Teams, and External Affairs.
- Partner with Payer Strategy, Pipeline, Trade, and Account teams to ensure channel deliverables are actionable; drive strategic recommendations.
- Support prioritized brand projects with Payer Strategy teams.
- Advise Pipeline and Business Development on licensing/acquisition in light of channel dynamics and opportunities.
- Collaborate with USMAx leadership, Government Affairs, Public Affairs, Business Evolution & Strategy Development, IRA Center of Excellence to inform/externalize policy.
- Orchestrate projects across internal and external partners (agencies, consultants, customers, Market Access Insights).
- Build customer connections with Account Management; influence customer perspectives to align AbbVie market approach.

Qualifications:
- BS in science or business; advanced healthcare/pharmacy degree preferred (MBA, MS, PharmD, PhD).
- 10+ years in pharmaceutical market access, healthcare, or policy.
- Expertise in US access/reimbursement/pricing and payer dynamics (PBM, Medicare, Medicaid, etc.).
- Cross-functional experience (marketing, customer engagement/negotiation, finance, regulatory, R&D, medical, HEOR).
- Strong communication/storytelling and executive presence; stakeholder relationship management.
