Role: Provide strategic leadership for enterprise laboratory technology platforms at Vertex's Cell & Gene Therapy sites LC1/2, acting as the primary Research Site Partner and technology architect. Responsibilities: oversee platform architecture, delivery, security, and support within GxP and SOX environments; manage vendor relationships, budgets, and modernization efforts such as automation and IoT integration; develop and retain a high-performing Lab Engineering Support team; serve as the siteβs product owner, translating research needs into platform requirements; advocate for site demands in cross-site prioritization. Requirements: Bachelor's in technology or related discipline; 10+ years' experience, including 3+ years in Cell & Gene Therapy; proven leadership in enterprise technology operations; experience in regulated environments; strong stakeholder engagement skills; familiarity with CGT modalities and compliance standards.
