Responsibilities:
- Lead development of business and functional requirements for Biometrics platforms/workflows (statistical programming, clinical reporting, data visualization, data review), owning the requirements lifecycle (upgrades and maintenance).
- Lead cross-functional collaboration across Biometrics and IT to improve SAS and Posit Connect environments on Linux (performance, scalability, continuous improvement; job execution patterns; access/permissions; operational support).
- Partner with Business Relationship Managers (BRMs) to prioritize demand, define business value, and establish scope, assumptions, and success criteria.
- Develop and execute Tableau analytics/visualization capabilities; define reporting standards and drive adoption.
- Develop/maintain Python-based utilities (as appropriate) and drive standards for scalability, reproducibility, and maintainability.
- Establish/enforce Git/GitHub version control and collaboration standards (branching, PRs, code review, documentation).
- Define current-state/future-state processes; identify gaps/risks and opportunities for automation and standardization.
- Ensure end-to-end alignment from concept through delivery and adoption.
- Produce delivery artifacts (user stories, use cases, functional specs, acceptance criteria, workflow diagrams, traceability matrix requirements).
- Lead testing and UAT; triage defects; oversee validated change control (e.g., GxP/21 CFR Part 11).
- Lead solution evaluations, enhancements, and successful delivery.
- Lead release planning/change management; manage training materials and post-release monitoring.
- Partner with the Senior Director of Statistical Programming on high-impact initiatives.

Required Qualifications:
- Hands-on SAS and Posit tools support on Linux (enterprise); including package manager.
- Hands-on Tableau (or similar) for analytics/visualization.
- Hands-on implementation of AI tools in a statistical programming environment.
- Working proficiency in Python and R.
- Proficiency with Git and GitHub.
- Strong requirements elicitation/documentation; translate stakeholder needs into user stories/specs.
- SDLC (Agile/Scrum and/or Waterfall) and testing/UAT experience.
- Excellent written/verbal communication; influence Biometrics, Clinical, and IT teams.

Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
- Stakeholder management/facilitation; process improvement (Lean/continuous improvement); systems thinking; structured problem solving.
- SAS (Linux), Tableau, Posit Connect; Python, R; AWS; Git/GitHub.

Preferred Education/Experience:
- BA/BS or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years supporting business systems for enterprise/analytics platforms (senior-level cross-functional ownership).
- Multiple years supporting a commercial biotech/pharmaceutical company in a regulated environment.
