Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the enterprise Business Process Management (BPM) strategy across Global Supply Chain & Technical Operations (GSC&TO).
- Establish standardized process taxonomy (Level 1 Value Streams, Level 2 Cross-Functional Processes, Level 3 Operational Processes, Level 4 Work Instructions/Local Procedures).
- Define business process ownership, design GSC&TO multi-year maturity roadmaps, and embed governance, lifecycle management, and change control.
- Establish the Business Process Governance Council.
- Conduct baseline maturity assessments (Plan/Make/Source/Deliver) and publish multi-year improvement roadmaps.
- Identify process dependencies, bottlenecks, redundancies; develop tools to understand trade-offs.
- Define standardized KPIs (health, effectiveness, compliance, risk, maturity) and lead enterprise value stream assessments/workshops.
- Lead organizational adoption via workshops, communities of practice, voice of the customer, and knowledge management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Life Sciences, or related field required; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- 8–10 years in a regulated healthcare industry; at least 5–10 years in operational excellence/strategy/business operations or similar leadership.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing & supply chain processes, cGMP, regulatory requirements, and external manufacturing complexities.
Skills/Competencies
- Project/change management and facilitation; strategic, data-driven, analytical; strong stakeholder influence in a matrixed global environment; travel up to 40%.
