Director, Business Process Management

Role: The Director, Business Process Management leads enterprise-wide standardization and continuous improvement of business processes within Cytokinetics' Global Supply Chain & Technical Operations. Objectives include establishing a process architecture, embedding a sustainable operating model, and driving operational excellence, digital transformation, and scalability. Responsibilities encompass developing BPM strategy, creating process taxonomy across the value streams (Plan, Source, Make, Deliver), defining governance, and designing a multi-year maturity roadmap. The role involves assessing current process maturity, identifying bottlenecks, and fostering a culture of process ownership, continuous improvement, and operational excellence through tools like Lean and Value Stream Management. Collaboration spans Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory, External Manufacturing, and IT, with partnership with Business Process Owners, Operational Excellence teams, and leadership, to ensure compliance, performance measurement, and alignment with strategic goals. Qualifications: Bachelor’s in Engineering, Supply Chain, Life Sciences or related; 8–10 years in regulated healthcare or biopharma, with extensive experience in operational excellence and supply chain processes, cGMP, and regulatory compliance. Preferred: Master’s or MBA, proven track record of delivering performance improvements, strong project/change management skills, and stakeholder management across global, matrixed teams.
