Role Summary

Director, Business Planning and Analysis (BPA) - Product Strategy - Finance. Drive the growth of US products by delivering forecasting, accounting, compliance, and project management solutions. Provide financial and operational recommendations to the Product GM Team to maximize product impact and accelerate value creation.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Product General Management Team, General Manager, Product Strategy Lead, Business Excellence lead, and cross-functional members to establish forecasts for the target, in-year updates, and longer-term projections.
  • Provide leadership and influence executive-level decision-making through deep analytical insight into core business decisions.
  • Structure and communicate complex, ambiguous business issues to advise and challenge the team; contribute on matters beyond Finance.
  • Lead monthly and quarterly performance narratives with relevant Product teams to drive understanding of financial performance and assist in Investor Relations meetings and deliverables as needed.
  • Drive cross-functional integrated planning processes for sales and direct external costs through operational excellence and financial leadership for the Product team.
  • Oversee all aspects of Product P&L including sales and direct external costs.
  • Develop resource allocation strategies with the GM team ensuring investment is used optimally and aligned with internal marketing models.
  • Lead 1-2 BPA associates, coaching and providing training to optimize performance.
  • Simplify and automate integrated financial planning processes across functions.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelorβ€šΓ„Γ΄s degree in Business, Finance, or related field; 6+ years in finance, management consulting, corporate strategy, FP&A and project management; experience in Commercial BPA; SAP experience preferred; strong Excel; demonstrated ability to present to business leaders.
  • Preferred: MBA or advanced degree; pharmaceutical industry experience.
