Responsibilities:
- Guide development and execution of business intelligence initiatives, including competitiveness and benchmarking.
- Build and scale a centralized function delivering market benchmarks, competitive intelligence, and analytics to drive portfolio decisions (underwriting, leasing, development, strategy).
- Partner with Asset Management, Finance, Leasing, and Development to create benchmarking frameworks and translate insights into recommendations.
- Define and own benchmarking and competitive intelligence strategy aligned to portfolio goals, asset classes, and growth targets.
- Design and maintain internal vs. external benchmarking models across asset classes (MAKE, Non-MAKE, mixed-use) and geographies.
- Monitor competitor activity, developments, leasing terms, rent/occupancy trends, financing activity, and asset-level performance.
- Create executive dashboards and self-serve analytics for portfolio benchmarks and market signals; translate complex data into clear stories for executives and non-technical stakeholders.
- Build and mentor a cross-functional team of analysts/BI professionals; foster curiosity and accountability.
- Ensure data quality, scalability, and cost efficiency across pipelines, dashboards, and analytics.
- Incorporate geopolitical and inflationary impacts relative to functional goals.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required (Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or related). Advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years in BI/Data Analytics with 5+ years in leadership roles (preferably engineering, facilities, or property management).
- Expertise in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker), data warehouses, data management; strong SQL/database management and big data analytics.
- Deep Microsoft Office Suite expertise; English proficiency; travel up to 30%.

Preferred:
- Experience with Python, SAP, Maximo, SaaS.
