Director, Business Intelligence (Engineering & Property Services)

Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the BI roadmap aligned with business goals.
- Own a benchmarking and competitive intelligence strategy aligned to portfolio goals, asset classes, and growth targets.
- Design and maintain internal vs. external benchmarking models across asset classes (MAKE, Non-MAKE, mixed-use) and geographies.
- Monitor competitor activity, new developments, leasing terms, rent/occupancy trends, financing activity, and asset-level performance.
- Build executive dashboards and self-serve analytics for portfolio benchmarks and competitive performance.
- Translate complex data into clear stories for executives and non-technical stakeholders.
- Build and mentor a cross-functional analytics/BI team; foster curiosity and accountability.
- Ensure pipeline, dashboard, and analytics quality, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Assess geopolitical and inflation impacts relative to functional goals.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required (Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or related). Advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years in BI or Data Analytics; 5+ years in leadership roles (preferably engineering, facilities, or property management).
- Proficiency with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker), data warehouses, and data management platforms.
- Strong SQL/database management and big data analytics fundamentals.
- Deep Microsoft Office Suite expertise.
- English proficiency; travel up to 30%.
- Preferred: Python, SAP, Maximo, SaaS.

Skills (preferred/required as stated): Advanced analytics, BI, storytelling, cross-functional collaboration, data governance/privacy standards/quality, leadership & developing others, MDM, performance measurement, process improvements, resource/tactical planning, team management, workflow analysis.
