Director, Business Intelligence (Engineering & Property Services)

Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the BI roadmap aligned with business goals.
- Own a benchmarking and competitive intelligence strategy aligned to portfolio goals, asset classes, and growth targets.
- Design and maintain internal vs. external benchmarking models across asset classes (MAKE, Non-MAKE, mixed-use) and geographies.
- Monitor competitor activity, leasing terms, rent/occupancy trends, financing activity, and asset-level performance.
- Create executive dashboards and self-serve analytics for portfolio benchmarks, market signals, and competitive performance.
- Translate complex data into clear stories for executives and non-technical stakeholders.
- Build and mentor a cross-functional analyst/BI team, fostering curiosity and accountability.
- Oversee pipelines, dashboards, and analytics to ensure data quality, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Understand geopolitical and inflationary impacts relative to functional goals.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required (Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or related). Advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years BI/Data Analytics; 5+ years leadership experience (preferably engineering, facilities, or property management).
- Expertise with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker), data warehouses, and data management platforms.
- Strong SQL, database management, and big data analytics trends.
- Deep expertise with Microsoft Office Suite.
- English proficiency required; travel up to 30%.
- Preferred: Python, SAP, Maximo, SaaS.
