Director, Business Applications

Role: Director of Business Applications responsible for managing global IT business systems at uniQure, including Veeva, Benchling, SAP, and related platforms. Objectives: optimize application value, oversee implementation, support, and vendor relationships; ensure IT compliance and support efficient business processes. Responsibilities: lead the Applications team of engineers and specialists, manage large-scale application projects, configure and support key enterprise systems (ERP, QMS, CRM, etc.), oversee vendor performance, ensure GxP and SOX compliance, develop procedures, facilitate onboarding of new applications, and collaborate across IT functions. Requirements: Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred), 12+ years in application management, 5+ years leading application teams, experience with large business applications (CRM, ERP, HCM), project management skills, and familiarity with GxP/SOX compliance; pharmaceutical or biotech experience preferred. High-Value: experience in biotech/pharma industry, large enterprise applications, international organization background, proven team efficiency improvement.
