Job Description
This position is responsible for developing and leading the global brand strategy for Corneal Health and Glaucoma, partnering with international markets to drive launch readiness and optimize on-market performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide overarching leadership and direction for marketing vision, strategies, plans, and resource investments for Corneal Health and Glaucoma franchises/functional units
- Align and lead global strategy with a β€œOne AbbVie” mindset
- Set tone and priorities for global accountability across both therapy areas
- Prioritize and execute high-impact strategic initiatives supporting franchise objectives
- Develop and implement a portfolio optimization strategy for future growth
- Partner with operations to ensure alignment and effective cross-functional execution
- Influence internal and external stakeholders and partners
- Lead and develop direct, indirect, and cross-business teams (AbbVie Ways of Working/Talent Philosophy)
- Coach to build high-performing teams and elevate marketing skills
- Determine actions, execution, tracking, and monitoring for marketing plans
- Maintain market awareness and triangulate dynamics/constituent needs
- Formulate, adjust, and execute business plans (financial, market, and impact)
- Drive growth, market share, and penetration for both portfolios
- Recommend strategic decisions for AbbVie/franchise/brands at varying lifecycle stages
- Lead cross-functional International Brand Team (INBT) across both therapy areas
- Collaborate with Affiliates and US teams on positioning/co-positioning
- Oversee product lifecycle management
- Lead strategic planning/execution of ACE, linking brand and ACE strategies to prioritization and growth plans

Key Deliverables
- Accountable for international strategy deployment (e.g., 1-7-5 framework) as needed
- Lead and align global tactical plans with clear initiative prioritization
- Champion brand strategies within ACE planning
- Maintain cross-functional network for strategy/promotion/operational alignment

Qualifications
- Director-level marketing experience
- Expertise in strategic brand planning and franchise management
- Significant leadership experience in sales or marketing (preferably affiliate/international markets)
- Strong Ophthalmology therapeutic area understanding; Corneal Disease and/or Glaucoma experience highly preferred
